Each time you generate a Strategy Report, Abstract re-reads your Public Footprint, your uploaded documents, and all jurisdictions available in your workspace. This ensures your report always reflects the most up-to-date information, but it also means that generation can take a while. Please wait while the system generates the latest results.
Overview
Strategy Reports help you develop recommendations and next steps for specific policy items. They combine your Public Footprint, your uploaded materials, your provided context, and Abstractās policy intelligence to produce clear, actionable insights.
Each Strategy Report builds on your existing understanding of a bill or regulation and provides guidance on how to respond, position, or plan around the policy. It can be used to support internal strategy sessions, client briefings, or policy engagement planning.
How It Works
When you generate a Strategy Report, āAbstract reads your Public Footprint, your uploaded documents, provided context, and the text of the selected policy item. It then uses that information to create a tailored set of recommendations for your organization or client.
The report includes

⢠A strategic analysis focused on organizational impact and positioning
⢠Recommendations for action, communication, or collaboration
⢠Links to supporting evidence drawn from your uploads and public references
Each Strategy Report updates automatically when re-run, so your analysis always reflects the latest available context.
Creating a Strategy Report
First, Create a New Conversation
Click + New Chat
From the left-hand navigation bar, select + New Chat.Add a Title
Select the title you would like to save for this conversation.
āOptionally, you may also skip this step, and Abstract will auto-generate a title.Select Uploads
Choose "Use All Uploads" and Abstract will use every file you have uploaded as context in this conversation.
Choose "Select Specific Uploads" to manually select the specific uploads Abstract has access to in this conversation.Create the Chat
Click "Create Chat" to create the conversation.
Next, Generate the Strategy Report
Open the Strategy Report settings
Click the "Create a Strategy Report" button. This will display the settings to generate an Impact Report.Select the Policy Item
Use the search bar to find a specific bill or regulation. For example, search for āAB 656 (CA)ā or āSB 104 (NY)ā. Abstract will retrieve the latest version of the text and related materials.Add Context
Use the natural language field to add instructions that guide Abstractās recommendations.

Click Create to generate the report. Each run takes a few minutes while Abstract reads all relevant context and produces a customized strategy document.
Reviewing the Report
Once complete, your Strategy Report will include

⢠Tailored recommendations for engagement, communication, or mitigation
